Right, ive been downloading loads of songs and packs, and its just tooo long creating the setlist.dat and checking song.dat So, i have an idea that could automate this. and it should be really easy to make. Basically, I sort my set list out in Artists. So.. First way:Make a programe that scans through the songs folder, looking in all the folders for all the songs.dat Then it takes out the artist and track info, and inserts it into a setlist.dat, each <teir> is a different artist and then it just pasts in the track names and location (which it can also read from the directory or something?) Then (optional?) it can check in the song.dat that the path is right for the ogg files Second Way:You manually make the folders for the songs. Example Iron_Maiden > Run_To_The_Hills > song.dat So thats theres the artist then inside are seperate folders for each song. So, the programe would just go through and reading the folders and directorys and then same as above making a setlist. This way, it wont need to read song.dat but it does require some manual work. And obvoisulys....if theres more than one song from the same artists it groups them all together in the same <tier> (this goes for both of the ways i explaned) It shouldnt be too hard i think as windows already has a list making service in CMD, it makes a .TXT files and lists all folders and files in a certain directory. ---- Lastly, anyone know where i can get the setlist fix from? or does anyone have it. Thanks Please reply, with comments and suggestions....and hopefully someone can make it THanks Matthew
