I play guitar, and i thought it would be cool to here me playing in guitar zero. But i didnt have band. Then i thought, hey! what if i recorded me playing guitar to a guitar hero song. export as .ogg and call it guitar.ogg and switch it with the real one. So i went into audocity. I imported song.ogg, and rythym.ogg so i had singing, drums, and bass. it was like a backing track. I recorded over that with my v-amp 2 and footswitch pedal(to change the sounds in hte middle of the song). Well i didnt finish but i wanted to test it out. so i took away the backing track(song.ogg and rythym.ogg)and exported it as guitar.ogg, then i renamed the real guitar.ogg to guitar2.ogg, so i can switch back whenever i want. It worked out great! I didnt finish recording because im still learning the solo, but when i finish i might put another video up with the whole guitar.ogg heres a video. youtube.com/watch?v=pCV5GEOYdD8and btw, i know im not the greatest guitarist in the world., still learning and havnt been playin for long, and i teach myself.

This could actually be a new way of creating custom songs and getting a cleaner playing sound including whammy bar.
I have a PODxt Live and could also do recordings or the tracks being played in guitar zero.
I.e Replace the guitar.ogg with an actual single track guitar recording .ogg.
Ive thought about this but wasn't sure if it would work.
Now i know it does, i might infact try it myself. KUDOS

Freakin sweet. And actually it's good to know that I'm not the only one who has had this idea. Since my computer has been incapacitated, I've actually been working on doing this exact same thing. Also, I do have a band (sort of, we're missing a drummer XD). Keep up the awesome work.
