HEXEN/TRACKER22Ok, regarding these points: 1. 2D Notes support Is basically already supported when you build notes that consist of a textured plane. 2. Multiplayer: Select Difficult text Yep, that's still to come. 3. Score Meter not inclined I'm waiting for someone to build model-based scoremeters. That's why I'm currently not updading them. 4. Support for change font colors. Mmmhh... yeah, that's probably still needed. It's not really a priority, but it will come eventually. 5. Support of a animated format This is not likely to come very soon. I'm really lacking a good suggestion for an animated format to begin with. Gif doesn't support a sufficient number of colors and I don't know any other format that might also be readable using the .Net Framework. I'm open to suggestions, though. 6. Starpower meter Yeah, that's still lacking. I'm silently hoping that it will come with the model-based meters, if anyone ever does those Bye, Callisto

Just wondering, Is it possible..and how would one go about..ripping 2D images such as menus...notes, fretbuttons, meters..etc..from GH3, on Ps2. If it's possible...I "MIGHT" try and see what I can rip. If it's not TOO complicated, I may rip as much as I possibly can as far as 2D stuff goes, and rar it and post it.
It depends on if it's possible to do. And how complicated it is to do.
Also, I know this is the wrong place, but it seems callisto checks and replies to this thread pretty often, so I thought it would be ok to ask.
@ Callisto. I know people keep bugging you about this, alot. And I'm not trying to be a dick. So please don't get mad at me. But I was just wondering. Would it really be THAT hard, to add a function in the config.xml or something, to allow for 2D notes. Like, have it a true/false thing or something. <2d notes>true</2d notes>..or something. And when it's set to true, it would search in the normal textures folder, for the note images. "Notes.png" "NotesStarpower.png" or something. When it's set to False, it would search the meshes folder for the 3D note models. This isn't meant to bug you or anything..I'm just wondering how hard it would be to implement.

Re: animations. Why not just grid out any supported format, like PNG, and loop through the frames (the same way that fretbuttons are handled now). For more flexibility for modders, add an xml with something like: <flameAnimation> <width>5</width> <height>3</height> <speed>3</speed> </flameAnimation>
Where the above would show 15 frames for the flame animation at some arbitrary animation speed.

@ reverend: Yes, but I can't seem to find the menu images, text images. And I lost the notes I downloaded from here. I haven't found the fretbutton images(I'm talking about the ACTUALL images. Not images from a screenshot, thats been cut out/edited). If you know of a place to get all of that<_<..then let me know please.

txf.. dont be a rip [censored].. realy men shoop their [censored] Unless the user perfers the content the creators of guitar hero worked on. It's all about options and just allows more theme's to choose from. I greatly dispise people who diss on the powers of ripping.

How would I actually use that to extract things from gh3. Would I need to run it on a ps2 emulator or some crap, then "capture" whats on the emulator? o.O Cuz that'd be anoying. I could never get a ps2 emu working. As far as I got was the main menu thing on the ps2(blue thing)..but even that ran slow as hell. Sorry. As for on topic. I can't think of anything else that needs updated. I guess the fretbuttons do a bit. The blue and orange need to be moved over 1-2 pixels to center it on the flames better. But thats about it. (I only play single player, so i dunno bout multiplayer stuff)

tiny gameplay update: BlueStar.png - Appears when you hit the final SP-note in a series. NoteTrailSpark.png - Appears when you're "riding" a notetrail. I'm not 100% sure about this, but as i remember, they should look something like these. Don't remember how the NotTrailSparkBlue.png should look like, so some of you out there should make it or tell me how it looks.. EDIT: We should also use fatdog's notes, they're f...ing awsome :-)
