Removed because I realize I'm a dumbass. This isn't a request once Callisto implements drums because the "strum" will be automatic and you'll only need the pad to be configured. If he wasn't working on drums, then this would be a request, so yeah...

This is almost a bug in the way controllers get setup...but it's also a request I guess.
So I got a Wii drumset in prep for B7, ($15! Gotta love craigslist) anyways, hooked it up to the PC tonight, and they immediately were installed and I had to do absolutely nothing to get it to show up as a joystick. Then I tested to see what button got pressed with each pad. Holy crap! Every pad pushes two buttons...a unique button for the pad, and the 8 button for a "Strum". Perfect!
Fire up GZ, go to map the drums in, find out that I can't seperate the strum button from the pad button. I could get everything mapped out fine except to split out the strum button. So I went back to Joy2Key and it seemed to work in the meantime.
Request: Either
1. Implement a system (not sure best way to do it) that would look for a common button when others are pressed.
or
2. Allow me to map a button to the config without me having to push it (let me choose button 8 for the strum by scolling through buttons)
or
3. Allow the config.xml "inputconfiguration" to be human readable and be able to edit it from there. I know there might be some good reasons "why" this wouldn't work quite right with multiple hardware configs, number of configured controllers...yadda yadda...however if I can get a config to be close, allow it to be remotely simple to see what's going on. (I tried to plop it into excel to see if I could make heads or tails to make a 9 button an 8, however no dice.)
This would be wonderful for the next update as Joy2Key is a pain if you don't need it for anything else, and the drumset is SO close to working properly....now if I just knew how to play the drums, that would be good too!
