Oh my goodness. I was looking for a program like this yesterday. I found the one youtube clip that i saw months ago where one guy used an extra program with a Wii drum kit, but it was FL Studio.. costs $'s, so a no-no. Today I searched for some more snare, tom, crash, and kick bass sound files, so if someone knows some good links to research them, please, send them here! Sensay already deserved himself a cookie-exalt for this one. EDIT About the sounds.. The program itself has quite many alternatives so I shouldn't be running out of them any time soon. It even has a cowbell - 'Don't Fear The Reaper', anyone?

idk, i'd much rather go play my real drumset lolololol. you can only do so much at one time, unless there is some sort of dual pad recognition, which i doubt because that's generally a hardware sort of thing, and the rb drums don't do that. EDIT:: of course if all you have the money for is the rb set, then i can kinda get it. but then i don't understand why you just don't do the rock band free style mode.

but then i don't understand why you just don't do the rock band free style mode. Because some of us are even more of a cheapskate, and don't even have Rock Band, only the drum kit. I tested the program a bit yesterday. An irritating fact is that there's a very short delay between hitting the drum set and hearing the sound from the software. It's short, but throws me off even on basic beat. So the only thing i could think of is to use the program for recording while speakers are muted.

CJB, you can combine two drumsets as one with the program if you had two sets to connect. You can also use the kick pedal to set 'alternate' mode. It still gives the kick sound and allows you to have 8 notes to play not just 4 (or 16 if you had two sets)
Fude, yes there is an audio delay problem but if you visit the forum there are many techniques to reduce it. Also, ASIO support is soon to be implemented meaning that the program has direct control of the soundcard making the audio lag as insignificant as its possible to get on pc
