*Edit* Ok since no one really bothered to help me this is what I've done and am doing. Done: I've written and Recorded the song as a standard song for Frontman for the easy song tier. So when we eventually have songs come with the game this hopefully will be one of them. Song is now up for download just for listening www.megaupload.com/?d=9Z0DR9FTDoing: Charting the song for expert. Almost done with charting for Expert, all that is left is the second solo and the Coda which is in a free form tempo. Details on the song: The song is called Frontman-man. The song is about a cocky egotistical guitar frontman known as frontman. The singer/keyboard player is complaining about him in this song and even fights with him in the song. The term Frontman-man comes from the singer sighing man.

That seems way to basic for a song to go with the game. I suggest a technical song to challenge the player as soon as they download the game. Thats just me though.

I'm with hzac on this one. The song must be difficult.

Well I'm more leaning toward medium difficulty on this. But if I played guitar it would be like on the super easy section so that is why I'm asking for people to play solos and the parts that would be played by the player while I could write the song and lay down rhythem parts to make the song sound good. It would be awesome if you guys [confusingboat and Hzac} could help. I actually wrote down some wrong chords and I only wrote it in like 10min so cut me some slack.

Id be willing to lend my new song for the purpose of this game. I might need to tighten the mixing a bit for releasing and maybe some help from someone with mastering (basically becuase i dont) its got tapping, solos fun riffs and breakdowns.. just no vocals becuase i dont do that.. should be up in a few days for demoing purposes

I could write a song that is expert-worthy. Problem is, I have no way of recording it.
For the record, I am a pretty talented guitarist, which always helps with my fretting ability. Knowing how to play a song on real guitar makes it really easy to fret.

Well if you have money I could suggest you this. www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7372354&st=M-audio&type=product&id=1122654018433It is what I use, and so far I think it works quite well.

Do you have a guitar pro tab? Well I don't know what that is. Are you asking for tabs for the song because that would be a pain in the but to make. Or is this some kind of charting program I've never heard off. Either way why would it matter I'm doing the charting for this song anyway.

Guitar Pro 5 = A program that lets you write, read, and listen to tabs. It's cool, cause as your tabbing you can hear it to make sure its right, plus you can add all the other instrument tabs too. (drums, synths, guitars, bass, ect)
