I think we've got guitar covered lol. It's the vocals that need to be done.

allright i will work on the singing soon. I need a midi 1/4 cable converter You could get an interface. Why don't we do the vocals as a co-op since there are often harmonies in the smooth singing parts. The second vocal is done at a high register which I could do since I got a crazy range when falsetto is added.

The noise would be heard by both mic's, causing both players to miss.

The noise would be heard by both mic's, causing both players to miss. Explain please, because I don't understand what you mean. I think we've got guitar covered lol. It's the vocals that need to be done. You can use the RB/GHWT mic and that would work well. Better than an 1/4 cable mic. The best idea would be an XLR mic.

You can only have one vocal track at a time. Say you have Player 1 on Vocal Track A and Player 2 on Vocal Track B. If both players are singing at the same time, the sound from both players singing will be picked up by both mic's, causing both players to miss.
(Vocal Track 1 input = Player 1 + Player 2) (Vocal Track 2 input = Player 1 + Player 2)

The Second vocal track would be just be a harmony part that get put into the song.ogg file instead of the Vocal.ogg file. The vocal track would be on the song.ogg file with other non-charted instruments.

i think that would be a waste of time

Not much of a waste of time. In my eyes what I will do is make the main vocal track sound better when everything is played back, that what it is for. It is like adding salt to food, it makes it taste better.
