I'm thinking about having an official track pack available for download as soon as the song downloads sections are complete, and I was thinking some All That Remains. What I want is a re-recording of the following songs with separate tracks for each instrument (guitars 1 & 2, bass, drums, vocals, any other sfx) and a very nicely done chart for each song (every difficulty): -This Calling -Six -Become The Catalyst -The Air That I Breathe>>> Hzac - the air that i breathe (minus solo and vocals atm) www.mediafire.com/?xqgy2jzdgzj-Before The Damned -Two WeeksThe first four songs are from The Fall of Ideals and the last two songs are from their latest album Overcome. If this project actually works out (which I highly doubt it will) that would be epic. Thanks to anyone who would even be interested.

I could do synth drums, but it takes ages. If I were to do this, I'd only drum 1 song. (they sound pretty good though when setup right)

i could do drums, but i don't go by a metronome, and when i do, it sounds unnatural. in other words, if out of some miracle you found a whole "band" to do the other instruments, i would have to do the first track, then everyone else build off that for the best effect. but i doubt you'll even find enough volunteers.

Well I could try to play it; I'm just not too good at solos haha. The rest is f*ckin cake. The vocals are where the main problems lay. Also, I have many other things to do which is why I asked other people to do it.

I could use the midi drum track and import it into Magix Music Maker. It has awesome virtual drums

It has awesome virtual drums Dude, i have used magix for a while, and it's virtual drums suck balls. anyone who plays real (or for that matter electronic) drums can tell the difference. Trust me, the only thing magix is good for is compiling track, mixing, and possibly mastering (to an extent). PS: if anyone else wants to hear what the magix drums sound like, go listen to my song in the real music thread. The drums there are made by the magix synthesizer cuz that was before i got a drumset. EDIT::: i suppose without a drummer tho that would be the best (and easiest) way to go if you don't have Reason or Fruity Loops 8.

Getting "decent" drums and bass (generic bass mind you) out of fruity loops + soundfonts isn't terribly hard. All you'd need is an already made midi file or just make your own (the hard part). It's the guitars and singing (of course) that are damn near impossible to emulate right. Check ma myspace to see what I mean (or dl my charts haha) www.myspace.com/melonman67music

I've been using Magix 11 for quite some time now and I don't have any problems with its instruments (it uses VSTi plugins), they sound pretty real to me. Maybe you have something configured wrong?

i have 10 and 11 and for a while i had a demo version of 14. i never messed with the vst plugins that much, i was lazy and made stuff with the beatbox synthesizer. actually i didn't know 11 supported vst plugins....

I would help, but my interface has low frequency problems and I'm not to familiar with the artist. If I did do something I could do vocals, I have relative pitch and a voice that sounds similar to Areon or the singer to System of a Down, though my specialty is classical music and jazz music. *edit* Ok just listened to This calling on you tube. No problem lyrics wise, I can totally do that and sound relatively like the person who sings it.

Haha yeah the beatbox synth is gay and I never use it. I use the instruments in combination with the built in midi editor to create tracks for instruments I either don't have access to or can't play. Sounds rape-tastic.

hey i already called the singing Ok then, why don't you record yourself over the original songs and then take out the original song after you sing over it. It would be a good way to get it over with.
