Like at the beggining of guitar hero III, of each song, the fretboard gradually goes up after 3 seconds, no immediately there, And it only does that if you restart a song, but it's immediate to, so have some delay in it. With the title and song author, fade in, and then fade out. Next, I want the fret buttons to do it's hit frame in the order of green, red, yellow, blue, then orange, and the meters to pop up from the sides.

Hmm if you haven't noticed this is a forum section for development, not requests. However, if you would like to create the animations, I'm sure callisto could easily implement them.

Why? In GH3 it's only used as a transfer from all 3d background stuff to the gameplay. It would be totally pointless without the kind of crazy background stuff they have going on in Guitar Hero.

Well I guess it'll make for a more realistic GH clone. Especially for mods. And some stuff, like fretboard animation and the "You Rock" are nice to have.

Yeah but staring at like a picture or maybe a video or some shitty 3d render while you wait for your frets and stuff to come on screen would be more annoying then fun.
I say just focus on cloning the gameplay before worrying about small stuff like this. GZ2's gameplay is far from perfect.

Those smal details vould be a problem, like for example if you play a costum song, the notes often starts immediatly, so it's ok to have the buttons there at once. Also, GZ should be flexible to fit several mods, and not lock itself up against gh3 or similar.
I agree that we should do something with the "you rock", "Starpower ready" and "song failed" animations though. They doesn't impress much. But as far as i know, callisto is focusing on fixing the bugs now. stuff like that will come later. there's a reason it's still a beta!

Actually, I am happy to include any animations if someone creates those. Don't wait for me to do it, because I won't - really.
