W.I.P. This is my first mod, but it looks good. : P In your opinion, how does it look? PD: This is an interface mod, all the in-game textures are the ones from the GHII mod.

It looks awesome. I really like this mod.
Hmmm... Would you mind telling me what font you wrote "Guitar Star" in?

I'm sorry about removing the pic but I wanted to change the fonts, IMO it looks better than before. : D Oh, and this mod isn't based on the IM program. (If you were wondering.)

You don't know how to make your pictures larger, or you don't know how to make the mod work larger? To make the mod work larger, open your menus.xml and on the first line use the resolution tag to increase the size, then change your config.xml to make the game change to that resolution as well...at least I think that's how it works:
<SavedModConfig xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" ModVersion="1.5" Resolution="800x600">

almost right, since the mod is sized to work for 800x600 leave the menus.xml ALONE. DO NOT mess with it. but in the config.xml change it to the resolution you want.

Sounded like he wanted to make his mod work for a larger resolution though, which means he would change the menus.xml...

if he has an larger version of all his textures. i think if he has the textures made to work for a resolution of 800x600, he should keep the resolution in the menus.xml file a 800x600 (this is how jd's gh3 mod works) and just set it for a larger resolution in the config.xml. this way it makes the fretboard and other major objects in the game bigger and more detailed, but it doesn't offset any menu textures.

Make my textures bigger? Which resolutions do I have to use? or that doesn't matter..? By the way I changed the resolution in the menus.xml and now the textures are in different places.

you'll have to reposition them using the menus.xml. you can try and change the resolution in the menus.xml and if you do plz tell us how it worked for you, because i'm beginning to think maybe derelict is right.
as for how to do all this, go into the main folder w/ guitarstar.exe in it. then go into a folder called resources (which you should have already known about by now i'm guessing) once in this folder, open a file called menus.xml. find the part that looks like this:
<SavedModConfig xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" ModVersion="1.5" Resolution="800x600">
it should be one of the first things, if not the first thing at the top of the file. then change the part at the end that says
resolution="800x600"
to:
resolution="(TYPE YOUR RESOLUTION HERE)"
Or if you just want to reposition your textures (if you change the resolution, you'll have to make your textures bigger), well... it's pretty self explanitory i'll bet you can figure it out from there, if you need any more help, post.

that glow reminds me to thunder hero, ahh i need to work with that hehe nice mod that glow makes me want animations for everything. omg, just had the greatest idea, callisto has to find a way to put in HDR into GZ. that would be the sh!t if he could! i wish we could switch the entire game to a GUI frame base instead of being a library of pngs. then we could do those neat animations like Vista has. but im thinkin WAYYYYY out there anyway great lookin mod! i bet activision would be jealous if they seen this! the whole atmosphere of the mod screams "in ur face"! great work man
