So i just got into the whole guitar hero on computer thing because i was sick of having to play all the shitty songs they put on the regular games, and gz is definitely the best thing i've come across. my only issue is with the "rock meter" or whatever. the meter goes down about 3x faster than the one on guitar hero or rock band. so first, i was wondering if this happens in every version of gz, or if it only does this in the Rock Band v2 mod stand-alone that i'm using? and also, i was wondering if there was a way i could fix this.

1) the meter is the same as gh3's.
2) no unfortunately you can't. and you most likely won't ever be able to. however there is a problem in that, when you have star power, the meter does go down too fast, but normally, it works EXACTLY like gh3.

You could try downloading the auto installer for beta 5, that has a much easier level of play. However, its missing many great features of beta 6 and you will get no support for it.

I think the same than taylorwoodx, normally i play Gh3 on expert mode, and with GZ2 I have the meter on green at top, and failing a bit in a solo the meter goes red and fail the song I tried the same songs in gh3 and in gz2 and in that one i cant finish them

I agree with the dificulty, It seems as though it takes more notes to get your combo meter up and takes fewer to have it drop. Still playable but something to look into since itd be nice for it to be the same

nope, it's been tested fully and it is EXACTLY the same as gh3. although you maybe just be experiencing problems from the gh's/rb just because this is a different game. it looks the same but feels different do to fretboard perspective and such.
but we have practice mode for a reason. practice mode = pretty much the exact same thing as quick play but no failing

I put beta 6 +update1 + update3
its the same sensation that chronofreak25 says... too difficult to get up the meter (maybe normally in expert mode), but too fast to go down...
it's appears that when you fail a note for a bit it counts 2 fails, 1 for dont play the note and other one for play out of time.. or something like that
Maybe is exactly the same as gh3 as moonflow says, but when different people thinks the same about one thing....

NO we know FOR A FACT that the meter IS indeed EXACTLY the same as ghIII, so if you guys are having a problem it is w/ another aspect of the game. I am not saying that the game is the same difficulty, I get what you guys are saying, and I myself believe that this game is harder, but the reason for me is the note windows. A lot of people don't like the board perspective (even if they don't realize it) and that is why they (and most likely you guys, too) are having difficulty problems.
