For the most part the game works perfectly. GZ 1 I never had problems with sync but since switching to GZ2 every few seconds there is a slight jump in the notes even though the sound stays the same. Ive tried changing a number of settings including turning on and off vsync. Its not a hardware issue for I have a very fast computer, 2gigs 1333mghz ddr3 ram, Nvidia Gefoce 8800 GT, 2.4 Ghz Quad core processor. I'm using Vista 32. I'm sure its an easy fix i'm just not thinking of, can anyone help me? what am i doing wrong?

Is it possible the songs are just poorly fretted? Does it happen on the Guitar Hero song rips?

yea it does happen in the Guitar hero Rips, they are fretted right and i may have just explained the problem poorly. It has a jump every few seconds but the notes stay on track its just really distracting and annoying. Its kinda like lag. also im not sure, but it might only be happening on the fret board and not the background images

i've had this problem too, but when i switched off vsync it fixed everything.
wierd. 0.o try using a .bat fix, in the tutorials section a thread called how to always run gz in high priority. you should use sk8r's version, since windows explorer is most like causing spikes in cpu memory.
