I am using EMS USB2 as my PS2 to USB adapter. Unfotunately if i run the game with Keyboard it works perfectly. However once i start to use the adapter to put in the controller it crashes. No error message just the standard report to microsoft popup.
Any ideas

You have to plug the adapter in BEFORE you start the game.

I had the adapter hooked up long before I installed GuitarZero. I use it for Stepmania and my dancepad. Like I said the game runs fine if I have it on Keyboard. If I try to use the gamepad as soon as I set the option in player one to Gamepad 0 and try to set the first button, the microsoft send report box pops up. This doesn't Kill the APP right away. I can move the box to the side set my buttons and exit the game. Once the buttons are set however I then get that MS popup when ever I start the game. Unless I unplug the adapter first and go back to keyboard. I will try some of the older versions and see if I can get any of them to work. -UPDATE- Well if anyone else runs across this problem. It turns out I do not get the same error if I use GAMEPAD1 option in GuitarZero. This is the secondary port on my PS2 to USB adapter. The game aparently does not like the first port on my adapter for some odd reason but oh well I can play now and I am happy with that  GeForce 7600 GT OC 256mb 4 GB Ram 3.0GHZ E8400 Core 2 Duo 650W PSU 35GB Raptor Drive + 80GB Secondary Windows XP Pro |

Hmm, thats odd. Eventually Callisto2002 will pop to this thread and help you. I don't know how to help.
