I've noticed that times are kinda slow right now on the GZ forums, and just thought I'd like to address it. Come on people, post!

You mean time between posts? 'Cause I noticed that too... not many people post in these forums... I wish people did! But I still see people asking what GZ is so...

*quiet yeah yeah
i suggest that before it comes out we go ahead and make a "score" forum so until the only scoring starts up we can have a thread for all the popular songs

When GZ2 comes out, all 5000 members are gonna get that email. It will be total chaos.

as for the score forum, not possible. start power can be made to last the whole song, making your score ridiculously high compared to a normal version of the song.

Which is why we should create some sort of md5 hash-type protocol within all the song files in order to make sure that they are using the original song, along with a few extra variables that could be sent to a score server to be validated. And in case people are wondering about a score server, byethost.com will host websites for free (along with php/mysql databases) as long as it's used at least once every 30 days or so. Currently I'm working on a php database system to be incorporated into my existing website that would work just like the ScoreHero system, except that it's separate from the official forums. It will have a login system and then a separate (but attached) scoring system, so that each user can upload their scores manually if Callisto doesn't incorporate auto-score-uploading into the game.
