hzac. Is it worth adding to the thread that you actually need a wireless adapter for the pc if you wish to use the wireless guitar? I have answered Ninjakaj's query elsewhere but was just a thought..

Microsoft wireless guitars configure via an wireless adapter you can purchase very cheaply. PS3 wireless guitars and wii (i think) are bluetooth controlled so you need a BT network card. Ps2 guitars require an adapter to convert to usb. Certain types work better for certain models of ps2 guitar (there are more kinds of ps2 guitar than any other!!) so make sure you check which adapter to get for it (this can be found at beginning of post i beleive) Thanks

wireless guitars require a wireless adapter provided by microsoft that allows you to connect ANY wireless xbox 360 peripheral to your pc.

-Update- I am a small step further than before but I still cannot get my guitar to work with this game yet...
Without Blue Soliel, my Wii Mote has the P1 button on. In my Game Controllers, it has PPJoy Virtial Joystick 1. When I double click that to see its buttons and when I press any button on the guitar, a button icon lights up, meaning My guitar is working. I just cant seem to get it to work with Guitar Zero.
When I open Guitar Zero and go to Input, there is no other option than keyboard, (The joy stick I have running isn't accepted). How do I allow my joystick to be accepted?
I have the program Joy To Key but I cant figure out how to use this program correctly. Please if anyone can help that would be great.
I'm working on downloading Blue Soliel 5.0.5, but at 4kb/second its going to take a long time.

grecko, the adapter should come with its own drivers and software. Make sure you have installed the software AS WELL as the drivers. Also if you are connected to the net (obviously) then you can automatically update the drivers via microsoft. In XP This can be done through 'Device Manager' and 'Update Driver' Then select 'Connect To The Internet To FInd Drivers' In Vista im not too usre as i dont use it. If it is not a driver or software related issue then im afraid like it sounds like you have purchased a faulty microsoft product. I know Unheard of isnt it?

Yes, the adapter come with its own drivers and sofware, my brother installed the drivers and the sofware and its work very well with the other 360 sticks, I have two wireless controls more and they works perfect but I have this problem with the guitar. My brother installed that drivers and new drivers but it still doing the same the guitar turn off but with a lot of tries its works. My brother installed to try another version more actualiced of the drivers and still doing the same, I really dont now what happens, I think that microsoft must create new drivers for the latest controllers.

well i have a wireless 360 guitar myself and have never had any problems with it. Are you able to test the guitar on a 360 console to see if it works well? Other than that i can offer no more solutions im afraid...
Also, what do you do to 'retry' are yoy having to reboot each time? unplug the adapter or just keep pressing the sync buttons?

When im retry, i turn on the guitar again because its turn off and i press the adapter button to catch the signal again and the button of the guitar.
