Hi, I'm new to this forum, so I'm not sure if I can post this question in this thread or not =\
Is there a cord or something to connect the wireless 360 guitar for GH3 to the PC?
EDIT: Les Paul BTW

eckin i think you have windows vista... run guitar zero as an adminitrator . i have the usb xplorer guitar for xbox 360.. it works fine, but i can't configure the whammy bar in guitar zero 2 beta 4...
-In the setup of the gamepad 0, when i press the whamy bar, nothing happens.
-the tilt for the activation of the starpower... when i have the guitar in horizontal position, the "starpower button" is always pressed.
plz some help..with the new update my guitar works perfect

Im using a Guitar Hero (first one) guitar and - Dragon PC Double Power Box 2 usb converter. I cant map a buttons because in a guitar is STILL pressed left in axis (also called button15) so i cant map to anything another buttons. This is strange because in FOF and regullar Guitar Hero there are no problems with maping. is there a possibility to ignore signal from this button when im trying to setup buttons in GZ2B4u2 ?

try to put the guitar in other position... open the game controllers and search a position when all the buttons arent pressed and keep that position when maping .. i think xD

i think there are no such position :/ there is nothing what can i do to relase this button (X axis left) and 16 relase star power (gyroscope button) - 5 select - 9 start 10 strum down Y axis down (and 15) strum up Y axis up (and 13) fret green - 6 fret red - 2 fret yellow - 1 fret blue - 3 fret - orange - 4 and there are no such position or anything what can i do to relase this button. Its just always pressed. But as i said Frets on FIre and Guitar Hero working perfectly and maping in FoF are without any problems a solution (for me) could be mapping of simultaneously pressed buttons in game

Ok solve the problem, just with another PS2 gamepad I just mapped controls in game with gamepad then connect guitar and everything (except whammy) working corectly.
A cause of problem should be USB-PS2 controller in Button Mode (needed with dancing pad controllers)

I can't get the Wii Guitar controller working right. I'm using all the instructions listed here. Using the right script etc... You say to make sure that "Bluetooth fix" is checked. However my controller's LEDs won't stop blinking when that's checked and i run the script. They only stop when it's not checked, Is that a bad thing? Needless to say, when i go into the game i can't select any other input device. What am i doing wrong? The glovepie script i found for Frets on Fire worked there, but once i saw GZ i HAD to get it. Any help?

Unfortunately, that didn't work either. I wonder what the heck is going on? The script you pointed me to didn't even get the LED to stop blinking. The script that can be found in this thread actually got it to stop when the "Bluetooth Fix" was turned off... I've seen videos of the Wii Guitar working but can't seem to figure out what i'm doing wrong. If it helps... i have a TRENDnet TBW-101UB USB adaptor. Is there a list anywhere of adapters that might not work w/ this? I really wanna get this to work. I wanna start playing new songs since the Wii can't download them anyway. HELP! :0)

wizrad, your tutorial is perfect, except for one thing... If you want the whammy bar to work (I guarantee this will work with PS2 guitar and Super Dual Box Pro adapter), you have to, in the joystick properties, do this: "Click the Controller Mode button from the bottom left corner and change Direction Buttons Mode to Auto and Controller Mode to Analog". And in JoyToStick you have to do this: "From the right side select Preferences tab and choose Use POV Switches". And the new keys are (in JoyToStick): UP = Whammy POV1:UP = Strum up POV1:DOWN = Strum down Button1 = Yellow fret Button2 = Red fret Button3 = Blue fret Button4 = Orange fret Button5 = Tilt Button6 = Green fret Button9 = Start Button10 = Select Also, drivers for those who can't find them: Win 98/Me/2000/XP: www.mayflash.com/Download/Super5%20pro.EXEVista: www.mayflash.com/Download/Super%20Dual%20Box%20Pro%20vista.exe

Thanks for the tips Magician, but as i stated in the very start of my tutorial, that my way was NOT for the Super Dual Box Pro. I do not have that type of PS2-USB adaptor, so whammying will not work as it is not recognized through my adaptor.

I misread it, but anyway, that's the way I did it and still do it, because Guitar Star won't recognise my controller >_>

np Magician. Perhaps we could get Hzac to add this to the end of the SG Controller section for ppl who do use the Super Dual Box Pro adaptor with the SG controllers.
EDIT: Thanks for adding this to the main section Hzac!

@ekin: do all the game settings reset? like player name, fullscreen, etc.? If you are modifying the config.xml directly, and you have a typo, eg <fullscreen>fasle</fullscreen> I think the game overwrites it with a default config.

check your joy2 key setup, if your green fret or your strum are set to auto fire, it wont work properly, i had this problem, all of your keys should be set to disabled
