BTW: PCGamer mentioned this game? You're sure they didn't actually mention Guitar Zero 1 or Frets on Fire? Are we all famous yet?

@triple D Oh well, I don't really assume that they'll even notice that there's a GZ2.

nice update finaly you can see that you have star power lol anyways for your next updat i think you should chang the multiplayer meter so it's not inverted and put a game options menu for like hyper speed and lefty flip and list sorting so you can change it while in the game and don't have to go back and edit the configvfile

Sry I'm a noob. Do I have to download a bunch of framework files to get this to work like guitarstar? If you have already downloaded and installed framework etc. on your comp before, you dont have to install them again, just dl the update 3 and overwrite those files in your GZ directory.

I've found that for me I had all kinds of "weird" things happening that didn't happen in any other beta. I traced my problem to the priority level of the guitarstar process...for B3 it was raised to "Above Normal" and for me that messed me up. However, the way the game is written, no matter what process the exe is launched as, it will change it to "Above Normal" after startup sometime. So you either have to write a program that looks for guitarstar exe to be running, then change the process, or do it manually every time. Try this and see if it helps:
Startup GuitarStar.exe ctrl+alt+del to open up running processes right click on guitarstar.exe and change the priority to "Normal" instead of "Above Normal"

You need 6.1; that includes the full game and upfate 1, then install update 3.

This is great and all, but is there any way to get the Update 2?
The download was removed. ;~;

Why would you want update 2? As canped clearly stated above you... when you patch 6.1 (full release) to 6.3 you get the 6.2 and 6.3 patch. Basically, 6.3 contains everything in 6.2 and some more besides so 6.2 was removed for download.

Where is the update 6.2?

If youd bothered to read the posts above you, youd understand that the game goes from 6.1 (full game so far) to 6.3 (a patch to go on top of 6.1) there is no download for 6.2 because its inclusive with 6,3

Putting guitarstar priority to normal solve my problem so game works now well but can I somehow put that priority to normal that it stay normal so I dont have to do it everytime I start play.

For right now you'll either have to live with it, as the next release will have the priority switching configurable.

Everyone having trouble running GZ in "above normal" priority, i found a solution. 1. Download this Program www.beyondlogic.org/solutions/processutil/processutil.htm(download link is about 3/4 of the way down the page) 2. Unzip file, copy Process.exe to GuitarZero folder (c:\Program Files\GZ Beta 6 - Update 1\ ), or wherever yours is. 3. Open notepad and copy or type this in start GuitarStar.exe PING 1.1.1.1 -n 1 -w 5000 >NUL process -p GuitarStar.exe normal Save in GuitarZero folder as GuitarStar.bat 4. Create a shortcut to GuitarStar.bat 5. Enjoy note: in step three the 5000 gives the computer 5 seconds to load GuitarZero before changing the priority, if yours takes longer to load than mine and you need to give it more time you could change this to 10000 to make it wait 10 seconds or 15000 for 15 seconds etc. Hope this works as well on your computer as it does mine.

Thanks!
