since frontman (i don't like the name but, whatever xD) is back, i want do something... i'll be doing some random stuff, not a complete mod (maybe yes) at this moment -finish my 3d stage -3d notes
if you want request something, say it, maybe i'll try to do it.

Looking nice, did you get it successfully working with callisto? That's the most important thing before you go too far. I couldn't get the halo stage exported and working. If you can export it right, maybe you can export the halo stage for me as well?

some time ago i have exported this to xnb and imported succesfully like a note in GZ2, it loads like a note so i think everything its ok. i have tried to open your halo stage, it opens but it looks pretty weird, all distorted i dont know why.. i'll try again with your halo stage
Edit: i dont know why, but it opened right this time. i'll try to export it and import it as a note in fm
edit2: ok, i can import my stage in frontman but.. i'm having problems with the textures...
edit3: textures problems solved, "alpha" stage sended to callisto

ok i have imported it into xna haha with the most basic drawing (rendering method): click for full size The background its temporal, only for the xna rendering test so, now i know i can export stages in the correct format, now i'll wait for a callisto reply to finish the stage.

well, i made a little application to "preview" the stage if you want to see it... the controls for the camera are: w, a, s, d, up, down, left, right, y, h, q and e www.mediafire.com/download.php?trj3znuxwjysee it and tell me what do you think ;D suggestions for the stage?

Haha, what a fantastic view! The quarry background reminds me of San Andreas..
Suggestions then, hmm.. a selection of several backgrounds would be a nice touch, but that is not necessary now, implementing the basic stage to the game is now the main priority.

EXTREMELY NICE! I could animate 3d Character to the track that come with the game if that helps, and I know how to play real drums and bass so I could do the finger work and drumming correct. Just let me know

Cool fretshredder. You got 3ds Max? I am had started some animations about a month ago. THey aren't supported now by the game, so I'm waiting. Once I get the textures for the model I'm using for reference and animation support is getting closer and more details as to how it is implemented beccome clear, I'll go back to animating and you can do some animations too. I currently have 200 frames of the guitarist, singer, and drummer. The fingers will need to be fixed before more frames or animated though as the drummer and the singer have al most no finger animation(long story) and the guitarist's index finger got rotated 90 degrees in every frame when put on a character for some reason. Most likely, we won't have song-specific animations(would take forever literally), but have different triggeres in a song to play an animation. Like red on the drrums triggers the drumer to hit a snare, a green and yellow chord on the guitar will cause the guitarist to play a power chord low on the neck. These are the details that need to be worked on, so we need to wait for now. THere is an animation thread, so further discussion should go there. It hasn't been updated in a while though.

I'm going to post a preview of my Drummer 3D work. Currently it's only a Biped playing drums that I had modeled but still good sync.
