I originally posted this in my custom songs thread, though I think that might have been the wrong place in retrospect. I'm going to post a couple links to a couple of their songs. If y'all like 'em, I'll post more of their 11 songs from their first and only album. By the way, my dad is/was the bassist. He still plays bass, but the band is no more. Apparently, life happens. The only reason I post this is to give the music a little more life. The band only ever had 1000 copies of the CD made, and all of them sold, besides the ones the band members kept. My World Album Art - 1: Burn - www.mediafire.com/?jyzt2zyy2df2: Killer's Domain (Citizen X) - www.mediafire.com/?uojyamfonzy3: Time's My Prison - www.mediafire.com/?d5zojzz1ywi4: Madman - www.mediafire.com/?zjhd2nzmnyn5: Long Gone Yesterday - www.mediafire.com/?j0ozjmwztwo6: From the Public - www.mediafire.com/?nm5jmzymift7: Wasting Addiction - www.mediafire.com/?yhtyoimymzn8: My World - www.mediafire.com/?jzd0w2jbyi29: Torn from Within - www.mediafire.com/?ggzym2h0mym10: Swallow Me Down - www.mediafire.com/?uojywjfjjwn11: Core - www.mediafire.com/?ylmzzwzmyhnAnd now a big bonus for y'all. This track was going to be on the album, but a disagreement between a couple members prevented it from getting on there. This is not a studio recording, just one they had from a bottom of the line recorder, with mostly just colored LEDs for an interface. My dad mixed it, who is color blind. As far as I know, there is only one disc that still has this song on it, and it managed to rip fine, despite the bad condition of the disc. Fallen - www.mediafire.com/?mdxu4ommt2j

Woah, i'm amazed how professional touch these songs have.. if CJB said the vocals reminds him of Metallica and Hetfield, i'd say your music sounds very much like Alice In Chains, especially that 'Long Gone Yesterday' and the acoustic parts.. beautiful! Big props for the singer.

Groovy stuf; I like it. Well written songs (maybe a bit long, but if you listen to the Renetta stuyff, we were so much more guilty of that than Human Naill), performed tight as hell. I think the production choices made are my only ctriticism; but IU'm sure nobody wants to hear about how the EQ preset on the cymbals was intended for dance music and makes them sound un-natural etc. etc. etc. for 20 pages.
The band are awesome, that's what counts...

@ CJB100: I don't really know how they made it, or who exactly they got to do it. I suppose credit is on the album booklet, but beyond a graphics art studio, I'm cluesless. Keep in mind that I was only 10 to 11 years old at the time of the recording. canped: What? The only thing I'm gonna say is that recording studio choices are pretty limited in the middle of southern New Mexico. sensay: I've told him about it before. He always tells me that whenever he touches a computer he feels like he's wasting his time, so he'd be uninterested in looking at a forum thread.

Big props for the singer. Now i found it, the intro of "Long Gone Yesterday" just reminded me of something else. Alice In Chains - I Stay AwayNot being offensive, these two songs are compeletely different overall. The intros sounds very similar, though.

fude: Well they did have influences, you know. Alice in Chains and Soundgarden, among quite a few others. Metallica and Iron Maiden included.

Wow! Human Nail! I had the pleasure of seeing the LIVE several times at Holloman AFB NM and in Alamogordo NM, in the late 90's. I bought their CD, X wife got it... Yes, They ROCKED! I actually made a vinyl sticker of the album cover and put it on my Blazer. I wished they made more music. S0meone in the band got transfered elswhere or got out of the AF, not sure why they died. Sucks, they were good!

Man walk down memory lane. I remember seeing them perform when I lived in Alamogordo.
