canped: it's all cool. after i get done w/ these songs i'm going to take DLC pack requests. well, i guys i took a vid of one of the full songs, and i'm uploading to youtube now, but in a little while i'm re-booting/formating my hard drive cuz this virus is pretty out-of-control. but don't worry, i can save all my files this time. thank god, lol. i erased the main virus file but it's still doing damage to my system, which is why i am still going to re-format. also, i'm sending my cpu in for a couple of days next week to get it fixed (cuz it's still overheating). but i'll be able to save some stuff to a flash drive and work off one of my other cpu's. it'll just be slow for the next week. On the other hand, after that, i should continue at a steady pace, and if it stays going as fast as it was b4 the virus, it'll be done in a month or so. ;D

To also view the annotations or view full screen: LinkOK Guys first vid. i got 4 songs completely finished, hard and expert is done on Vizharan's Stratovarius song, and next will be Foo Fighters, The Pretender, and Loney Day, System of a Down (which is pretty much perfect as is just going to make two or three notes not hopo's and that will be done too). So total, 4 songs finished, 1 song 99% done, 1 song 50% done, and 1 drafted song. So it's moving along. Then imma do Charlie for PCB and then go by tier. I will release by tiers as they are finished. 1st tier will be done in prolly like a week at most. figure about 1 week per tier. The pack will be released as tiers, individual songs, and then once the pack is completed, as a full zipped pack and as a torrent (maybe.) i plan to have a table set out on the first page, download links beside each tier, and a free lo-quality 30 sec. preview of each song and their respective dl links beside the individual songs, and a dl link for the whole pack at the bottom below the table. that's what i'm going by for now. cya.

I can get the computer to test it and fix it if it's not, if you like. EDIT: I need it in .mid format, though.

that'd be gr8. mainly the part i had trouble with was the last little bit. Chorus III i think is the name of the section. The whole thing's out of sync by one 64th note but it plays right in GZ, so play it in GZ first b4 you mess w/ it in feedback. cuz some of it doesn't SOUND right when you have the clap thing on in feedback but plays perfectly in GZ. and my GZ lag isn't off i have it tuned to play all the gh's perfect. so i just kinda want an opinion i guess. www.megaupload.com/?d=0CDLDSUHhere's the pack

Feedback? Nah, man. Ableton Live's MIDI sequencer. Much greater editing capabilities, plus I can timestretch the song to fit with the chart instead of the other way round. Dowloading now.

AH DOUBLEPOST!!!!!
What did you work out the tempo at? around 80-85 I geuss but I need it exactly. It seems like the track is actually out of time (i.e. it wasn't recorded to a click). the best I can do, because your MIDI notes lie outside the beats to compensate for this, is to knock the track into a steady tempo and give you that to start fretting again.
Actually, the best I can do is knock it into time and then try do the same with your MIDI notes.
HOWEVER, after playing the song I don't think that the sync is out bad enough tio warrant any of this hastle; the chart works fine. The only thing to do (with all your tracks) is to delete the guitar.ogg unless you have the seperate guitar track. Even if your tab is the tiniest little bit out (basically impossible to avoid), it will cause phase cancellation in the track and make it seem much worse out iof time than it actually is. GZ can run with just the song.ogg, and your guitar.ogg is identical so it doesn't need to be there at all. it'll also make the download about 1/2 its original size.
In summary- the track doesn't really need fixed, delete guitar.ogg
Oh, and as a personal preference, I think that you should change the [BO] [GR} chord bit. You'd never do anything like that on real guitar. [YO] [GY] would be more appropriote.

thnx for the feedback. and i will do the Yellow Green to Yellow Orange thing. but one last question, wat do you think of instead of:
[GY}{YO}{GY}{YO]
i have something more like:
[GY}{GYB}{GY}{GYB]
or
[G}{GYB}{G}{GYB]
O and the BPM in feedback can be changed at any point in the song. I reset the BPM so that the first bar of music is played EXACTLY as the first guitar note is is played every four bars of music.
In short, the BPM is off every four beats so i constantly reset it and most of the time it stays around 85.37 - something and there are parts in the song where it drops to about 79 point something and the second solo part plays at exactly 90 BPM.

In relation real guitar, to me [GY] [GYB] would indicate an augmented chord rather than a new one, which those are but I say try them out and see which you prefer. Its your chart, after all.
Oh, and if you like, if there's any more sync issues then you can tell me the name of the track and I'll stretch it into a steady tempo for the whole song (unless there's time sig/tempo changes IN the song- that's WAY harder to pull off and I've never tried it before). Just as a note of reassurance, I did this for my new Malevolent Creation tab (see song section) and you really can't hear it being changed.

If you could pull off 'Zomby Woof' by Frank Zappa, I would be forced to tip my hat very firmly in your direction. The thought of trying to fret that scares the bejesus out of me. Alternativly, the live at Glastonbury version of Broken Boy Soldier by The Raconteurs would be awesome. I'll see if I can rip the audio from YouTube... Nope. Can't get it working right. Weird. Heres a different version, anyway. www.megaupload.com/?d=UEUV35J8

furiouss any song you could fret at the moment on the list would be gr8. and i guess i'll get the RATM sometime l8r today. Ok guys here's the first draft of DOTN - Touch, Peel and Stand, i know the syncs out of time in at least 2 places, whether you guys will notice it in gz i'm not quite sure because i haven't been able to test it yet (my cpu's getting repaired and neither of my other 2 cpus have the stuff to play the game, and they dont support shaders.). Here it is can someone test it please and tell me what to work on? thnx much in advance. ;D www.megaupload.com/?d=Z91311GP

the sync felt fine however 2 things
you have 2 sets of repeated green notes thats incorrect(maybe thats where the sync is whacky?) and during the solo about halfway or so...you started charting the background guitar for a sec lold then resumed solo just seemed weird..lol
other then that is was very enjoyable

yes you found one off-sync part and that was the green note section. however, the green notes are supposed to be there, the guitarist is playing a silent note (in tablature it's marked as an X) repeatedly, however you're right there is a lot more going on there, i just haven't added it in yet.
as for the solo thing, can you give a specific time or for that matter which solo cuz there's like three. idk what you're talking about but there's a gr8 possibility that i did start charting a backing guitar.
and just so you know, the second out of sync area, idk if you noticed it or not, but it was near the third chorus and outro guitar solo.
EDIT::: i think i know what your talking about w/ the solo thing now that i think about it, but can you clarify? Is it that thing that kinda just starts out of no where and then last for like 15-30 seconds then the rele fast triplets come in? cuz if so that's actually how i wanted it. should i just leave out the first and last solo section things so that it seems more natural? cuz i can just rename those sections to something like 'bridge' or 'lots of chords' or something.
