I dont know if this is a glitch , or if it has to do with how beta 6 reads the mids/charts. example, in beta 4, the begining of ironman was two sustained notes, beta 5 was all five frets, and now beta 6 its back to 2 frets, any ideas?

@dyablito Nope, no idea. Anyone else experiencing similar problems? Have you looked at the chart? Is it supposed to be 2 or 5 frets?

The Stage2D.xml function <SavedTrigger xsi:type="StarpowerActivatedTrigger"> doesn't work (found it in the .exe). I tested other functions in its place and they work fine. If you can fix that for the next version I've got some fun ideas for it's use. Oh, and if you can have either a StarPowerDeactivatedTrigger -or- code it so that trigger turns off when the star power runs out that'd be awesome.

for some reason, using charts, the guitar.ogg plays in the background, and the song.ogg plays as i hit the notes (they are inverted) and here is a .chart file www.mediafire.com/?ts4oijyqmny

Not sure if this has been reported, but I was playing Tom Sawyer (RB chart) and I noticed that, after playing a chord, there would be a pull-off right after it. This is fine for instances where the note is not the same as the chord, but this was red+yellow chord with a pull-off into a red note right after it. Only GH3 does this because of the user defined hammer-ons, so I'm pretty sure this is a glitch. (Note: this happens in other songs as well, like Smokin' by Boston.) Though this doesn't take entirely from the game, I was just wondering if this has been addressed.

lyokofreaksI don't really consider this an error yet. The problem is that the HOPO definition is really unclear (at least to me *g*), because of the different games. Unfortunately, you cannot recognize from a chart which game it comes from. Therefore, I try to stick to what GH3 HOPOs are allowed to. @xxorangexx I didn't manage to look at your problem in detail yet, but I hope that it's something that I can fix with the next update.

Yeah I noticed this too. I had to rename everything. And now that I have, I hope this doesn't get fix'd >_> Just kidding, please address this issue. Little hint for next time when you have to rename the oggs back to normal: try a program called renamer. www.den4b.com/downloads.php?project=ReNamerIts simple tool for renaming a bunch of files Just use the windows own search to gain all the ogg you want to change name of to a one pile, then open renamer and then its pretty easy to go on. And, i had a little thing to say too. Dunno if it would be a request actually, but anyway: the new beta 6 allows to play several menubackground.oggs from the directory in sounds/background. Well, the game can play those oggs randomly, but, if i let one ogg file play compeletely, the game starts to play the same ogg again.

Mine says that it doesn't support mipmap textures because of my graphics card and tells me to- "Specify 1 for the nuber of levels.
Parameter name: numberLevels" (For every song I tried to play.)
I looked everywhere in the pack and I can't find the parameter!
What should I do?

Hmm, with update 1, I seem to get an error that says I tried changing the settings in the config.xml, but nothing worked. EDIT: I only get this problem with the 2d stage. I switched it to image and it works fine.

The 2D stages have to be updated, as documented in the beta 6 update 1 thread.

I've noticed that I usually get a "skip" the first time I complete an SP sequence - I assume it's because GZ delays loading the stage animation for SP until the event actually happens. After the first SP sequence, subsequent ones trigger the animation without any issues. This happens regardless of which stage I use.

i would think it would be cause its the first time its showing the star power ready image not the stage anyway whenever i lower the resolution below 800x600 the game crashes on me ( i lowered it for performance issues )

Im asking.. why does the fretboard in the solo section 'burn' some kind of overlay into the fretboard? It looks messy, here is a clip. mihd.net/pvy87deLook closely how the fretboard messes up after a couple seconds when the percent counter has began. And after the solo the fretboard look normal again. Is this a wanted feature or a bug?
