Yeah I agree with pedroion, can you post just the mod as a download option, because 37 mb on dial-up is slowwwwwww.
Thanks.

If you guys on dialup have a local library or a friend's house where you can take a thumb drive/burn a disc I'd recommend it. Trust me. This is the best 37mb you've ever downloaded.

Erm, not so great all of a sudden.
When I try to play a song (Ive only tried to play one song, may7be its the song itself), but when it tries to load the stage (i havent played any songs on this mod yet), I get an error.
Insufficient memory to load the program.
Or something like that.
Any help?

Start --> Run --> type dxdiag and hit enter. If a question comes up, say "no". Post the processor and memory, then click on the "Display" tab and post what's listed in the device name.
For example Processor: Intel Core 2 CPU 6400 @ 2.13ghz (2 CPUs) Memory: 2046MB RAM Display: 256MB ATI Radeon X1300PRO

@ Xephyr -- You probably should try it without the 2D stage 'slideshow'. I ran the GH Aerosmith stage today and noticed major slowdowns due to the number of frames. Try running the mod with the default stage.

try running it in 800x600 Always do -- My machine just burps every once and awhile with that many frames and I fail. If it's okay with you I'll do a 'lite' version with just the Aerosmith frames that should cut the memory load in half. If you want me to keep that a private thing that's cool, but I'd be happy to upload a lite version for those who need it if that's okay..

I think a lite version is needed. I have a crappy amount of RAM (only 512 MB) and it lags like no tomorrow when playing.

open the config.xml with the notepad and set the Stage to Image instead of Animated2D, change the resolution to 800x600 instead of 1024x768, that should work

Here's a lite version of the stage. It's 272 frames, so it's an increase in performance if you were having trouble before. www.mediafire.com/?vazmn1kpzvi

I think a lite version is needed. I have a crappy amount of RAM (only 512 MB) and it lags like no tomorrow when playing. I dont think its a ram thing. I have 512mb and i can play this high res and fast. no lag. Try creating a prioritised environment for guitarstar and max the priorities etc etc
