I'm sorry everyone, I haven't worked on the menus since my last post, and I probably won't begin working on them for at least another week (bare minimum). This is due to me and my girlfriend breaking up on Thursday, I took it really bad and I don't know when I'll be inspired to work again. Again, I'm sorry.

Lol, well I was one of the very fortunate ones to have a beautiful girlfriend who loved me although I'm a total geek. Well, maybe not a TOTAL geek, because I pretty much didn't choose technology over everything else, but meh, sh*t happens. Anyways, this thread is getting a little bit off topic (my fault, sorry lol), so I'll just post back here when I get a bunch of sh*t done.

This is proving to be much more time-consuming than I thought. Also, with the Christmas season here, it'll probly be longer until I'm done exporting all the menu layers for distribution.

NEW STUFF!!! Updated with loading screen. Also, I'm done exporting the layers for all the menus seen here, and am currently working on the difficulty screens and will have those completed and exported by tonight.

I just wanted to post to tell you how amazing every one of your menus are. I love them all, and hope that's how the final game looks, or at least very similar. Excellent work, Confusingboat!

I love the Setlist menu , but the Settings menu looks a little confusing for me. I also think you should align the text in the controls settings, it feels a little disorganized. And looking forward to watch the fretboard in action. Keep up the good work!

I really like the way u made ur menus because they are so far beyond torn, scratched, doodled upon, and crumpled up paper.they are unique, original, and just plain great pieces of art that i really think should most DEFINITELY be guitar stars menus
i love them

I just thought I'd let you all know that I'm busy implementing my menus into the new Guitar Zero beta. So far it looks good although it's not going as smoothly as I had planned.

Hey confusingboat. Great work on the mods. by the way. I get emails all the time from Russian girls looking for boyfriends and husbands. I'll forward some to you next time. From their photos they look pretty hot! I even get emails all the time about ways to "increase your appearance" to make those new Russian girlfriends even happier. I'll send you those too!!!! Maybe that will help!!!

Hey everybody, thanks for the support on my graphic mod for GZ2, I'm posting this so you all know that I haven't abandoned the project, I'm simply waiting until all the menus are modable in GZ2. Also, it'd be VERY handy if the menu heirarchy were also moddable. Perhaps Callisto could make the menu system a dll file and release the source for it? That would be teh-amazing for other XNA programmers such as myself so as we could do some hardcore modding.

Hey guys, it's been a while, but I have been working on this on and off for a while, and things are coming along quite nicely. As of now, I am almost completely done with the menus in full compatability with Beta 6.1. With every new version I update my menus and mod the new features. I apologize for the lack of new screenshots as there is much work to be done.
If you would like to see a shot of a certain menu or screen to see what I've done to it, please just post a request and I'll update my first post with a screenshot of it as soon as possible (I'm doing it this way simply because there are too many menus and screens at this point to post a screen of them all).

Alright. I have finished all art that can currently be changed in Guitar Zero 2, and it is available for download in the first post in this thread. Here is a link there.

Sounds awsesome. By the way would it be possible for you to make it easier to change fonts? Perhaps use TrueType font files and then add an XML file that specifies the color and size for each font.

ConfusingboatTrue type fonts probably not (XNA requires compatiblity with the 360, which doesn't have true type fonts), but I could probably make another XML file which would make it easier to modify fonts and colors. However, you'd probably still have to create new fonts using XNA Studio.
