This project has taken a huge makeover. Instead, this has now become a 5 tier project, and I'm not fretting everything. Granted, I've fretted a few of songs in here, but not all of them. I found most of the songs scattered over the internet. I've played them, editted them, and made them perfect. I am basically done but I want to further increase the bonus song setlist. Anywhere, here is the entire setlist. Tier 1 - Warm-up 1. Devil May Cry Anime Theme - Devil May Cry 2. Ninja Gaiden Theme - Ninja Gaiden 3. Guardia Forest Remix - Chrono Trigger 4. Mining Melancholy - Donkey Kong Country 2 Encore: Metal Gear Solid Theme - Metal Gear Solid Download: www.mediafire.com/?xmzuesdmhxwTier 2 - Crank up the Volume 1. Race Theme - Zelda Ocarina of Time 2. 1080 Snowboarding - 1080 Snowboarding 3. Silent Hill 2 Theme - Silent Hill 2 4. Grand Theft Auto Theme - Grand Theft Auto Encore: One Winged Angel - Final Fantasy 7 Download: www.mediafire.com/?4yqi9z4uidhTier 3 - Kickin' it up a Notch 1. First Level Melody - Castlevania 2. Super Mario Bros 2 Melody - Super Mario Bros 2 3. Opening Theme - Super Smash Bros Melee 4. Sonic the Hedgehog Melody - Sonic the Hedgehog Encore: Jungle - Contra Download: www.mediafire.com/?y9izm9bfuhjTier 4 - Amp-burnin Tunes 1. The Long Distance of Murder - F-zero X 2. Dr. Mario - Dr. Mario 3. Overworld Theme - Legend of Zelda 4. Mute City - F-zero X Encore: Super Mario Bros Theme - Super Mario Bros Download: www.mediafire.com/?m4v91ls21tdTier 5 - Satan's Tracks 1. Brinstar (Metal Remix) - Super Metroid 2. Fall Down to the Scream - F-zero X 3. Eve - Dynasty Warriors 3 4. Open your Heart - Sonic Adventure Encore: Power of the Horde - World of Warcraft 3 Download: www.mediafire.com/?nxpl1vdxyijBonus Songs Download: www.mediafire.com/?yijjwfreoa1The bonus songs list contains a few lower difficulty songs, and about 5 or so added songs that are still in expert. It also contains one song with all difficulties. It's just some extra songs I didn't put in the setlist.Downloadable Content Pack 1 - July 2008 Mega Man Pack

Some of those songs are already amde at FoF. Will you be remaking them then? To keep this pure GZ?

Okay, I'll do that.
When I'm finished with them, I'm releasing 3 songs to the public as a little demo. I'll be releasing:
Donkey Kong Country 2 - Mining Melancholy Mega Man X - Armored Armadillo Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon - Goe Goe Spark
Anyone who's heard all three of those and agree those are fantastic songs, raise your hand =P

How good are you at fretting? xD
Also, question. Are these gonna be Guitar? or are they just, the music from the game, not neccesarily guitar?

May I suggest using a song or 2 by S.S.H. (if ya haven't already)? Site is kinda hard to read (Japanese) but the titles are semi English. ssh.ne.jp/

I'm trying to make as many of these as I can have guitar, but I can't be too picky. So, most f them will just be straight from the game, without guitar. So the fretting will just be the music. =P And I'm a good fretter, I just use all my songs for myself instead of posting them. Mining Melancholy is near completion, and I'll be posting that so you can decide if I'm good or not. And uh, the Japanese stuff. What am I looking at? I don't wanna go bring up the Google translator >_<

Update!Mining Melancholy released. This song was extremely difficult to fret, and its not like there's tabs or anything, so everyone keep this in mind when you start to think its badly charted. =/ www.sendspace.com/file/uav01mAnyway, there's Mining Melancholy from Donkey Kong Country 2. Enjoy.

While the actual note choices wern't bad, the sync was. How do you chart songs? Whatever method you use, I suggest learning Feedback (its rather easy to use). Since you are doing VG tunes, the BPM is most likely constant (cause its not humanly played). All you'd need to to is pop in the BPM (A quick run with WinBPM netted me 93.8 for this song) and lay the notes as ya go. You can get Feedback at the SH forms here: www.scorehero.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7466Even if you don't want to use Feedback, I suggest incorporating that 93.8 BPM into your song some how and chart the notes in an even manner (though I'm not sure how ya do it). I don't mean to come off too critical, but a bad sync instantly ruins a song IMO.

I use EOF, a program designed for Frets on Fire but can work for GZ. I tried Feedback, and I understood it very easily, but it just took way too long. I spent three days trying t chart a song with very little guitar, and I was only halfway done. It just took me forever to work the program so I didn't want to use it.
EOF works well enough though.
So if I just go into EOF and change the BPM to 93.8, the sync should be fixed? Because when I play in EOF the notes are almost perfect sync and when I play in GZ and my one beta tester (looking for more) plays, it seems fine. Maybe we aren't expe4rienced enough to know a good sync.

I played it in FoF, and noticed it was WAYYY out of sync. But I thought it was just a problem with FoF so I didn't say anything. But if it actually is out of sync... I played it.. the delay was off, so I had to add a delay, the as the song went on, it got more and more out of sync.

Well for me it wasn't WAAAAAY out of sync per se, I could understand what notes went to what but it just feels like you didn't touch the BPM at all and just used 64th notes or something and placed em to where it they "look alright."
The main reason why I prefer feedback is because of the clap function. It makes a clapping noise when each note is supposed to be strummed. If EoF has this, using it would make things easier.
Regarding that new value, yea pretty much every note would require moving if you changed the BPM.

EOF has a clap function. I'll try that out.

nice song Zephyr, although it was a little out of sync easy. you might want to give a name to the first tier as well... and maybe put one or two Metroid Metal songs in there. you can get them from MetroidMetal.com

will these songs be credited to the original fretters? two songs in there are mine (unless there are other versions) and i do NOT want my songs in there if all these songs aren't going to be credited to the proper people.

oh, ok XD for good measure, you should add them next to the name of the songs in your setlist in your first post.
i apologize for my rude outburst. it's a simple concept that many people forget though and it angers me greatly...
EDIT: btw, i'm excited for this! i love vg music in gz/gh

Well I don't remember exactly who did what. The read-me file just has a list of names of people that's songs are in the setlist. If you want me to list the songs you did by your name in the read-me file and whatnot, I could do that. It would take about an hour though. -_-'
