the solofretboard is meant to work as an overlay, looks like you replaced the solofretboard with the same normalfretboard texture, if you dont want to see the blue overlay then make the solofretboard transparent

I tried using a transparent solofretboard, but then it really is ''transparent'' EDIT: Some more information about that texture stretching, Callisto. You probably already may be aware of this, but if the in menus.xml the line for ex. "a="1024x768">" is replaced witn "Resolution="1024x768">", the textures are as they should be. So it wont need any special fixing This hint was by Stranxk, thank him.

now that the game is harder and i have to use training to play my hardest songs i noticed that MOST of the custom songs (wich make this important) dont show up any difficulty to select in training so you cant play them but they work perfect in normal mode here is a song with this problem: www.savefile.com/files/1424043

I quote myself here some: Expert: 18 missstrums to fail, in both GZ and GH3. Hard: 23 missstrums on GH3, 24 on GZ to fail. Medium: GH3 wont let the rockmeter drop (stays between red and yellow) until first note comes on the fretboard.. in GZ, 29 missstrums to fail. Easy: GH3 wont let the rockmeter drop (stays between red and yellow) until 20% is played of the song. In GZ, 16 (!) strums to fail. So especially easy difficulty needs fixing EDIT: Correction, ''Medium: GH3 wont let the rockmeter drop (stays between red and yellow) until first note comes on the fretboard..'' not true, it waits between red and yellow until ~5% of the song has been played.

fudeThat's not really true, the number of strums that you need to fail easy is correct. Check the scorehero.com guide: It say that GH3 lets you fail easy after 15 strums - GZ is even slightly easier. I do acknowledge that (different to GH3), GZ will let you fail within the first 20% of the game, but I don't think that this is a major factor. Oh, i see. Thanks for correcting, i didn't know that easy rockmeter is dropping more than on expert.. but its understandable, as easy level does have so much less notes.

@ callisto: for some reason, when the song is playing and notes are there at the time, it skips/freezes for a second or two... any ideas? i have everything but i am on a laptop at my brothers. is it the game? is this happening to antone else?

what's wrong with the meter? it kinda takes 4 bad hits and goes down to red, and then it's freakn tough to go up! something's wrong with the difficulty or the hit counter or the meter there. most songs are unplayable now in my opinion

umm i got an error message saying my creditsoverlay,png is missing That means the you must have installed a mod that used a creditsoverlay.png (i.e. Rock Band mod) and then you either switched mods but not menus.xml or you accidentally deleted the creditsoverlay.png. Just download the mod again and use the menus.xml in it. As far as I know, the only mod that uses an overlay for credits is the Rock Band mod.

got another bug, in practice mode when u playing a song, for example guitar part of freebird, in middle of the song the game siwtch to rythm part notes and then back again to guitar part (yeah its very weird and actually hard to explain)
as i said this happen in freebird but also in many other songs only in practice mode, just play it and u will notice it, specially in the solo part
also in practice mode if u dont play the whole song but select one or more sections to play the notes may appaer delayed/unsinched

found a bug on the set list, the number of times played is stuck at 10, it will go past but after a restart of the game it will say 10 again.

like i sayd in the old beta bug/ glitch report thread.
"scores.xml only saves 10 scores if you play one song in expert 10 times, all the hard, medium and easy scores are deleted. this is half bug, half request.. 5 scores for each difficulty (20 in total) in the scores.xml file please thanks ;D oh and this.. in the times played, the max number posible its 10 (i think, they are the 10 scores allowed in the scores.xml) " like always, i will have no answer...

like always, i will have no answer... Even if Callisto wouldnt reply for your bug, it doesnt mean he hadnt seen it.. he has no time to just say ''ok, i'll look into it'' every time we find a bug.. For the bug JD mentioned and i seconded above.. i havent found any other song that would mess up with the notes like the Free Bird does in the middle of the solo.

ok ;D thanks for your answer the font is : "Freak Turbulence BRK" btw: i think, you can be a little more "spammer" lol, i know, the bugs will be fixed without having to say "ok, i'll look into it", but im not talking 100% about bugs, answers in the requests will be great if you can (this game is almost finished, so, you cant get too much requests, dont worry, i think lol)

hi guys
noob here, my first post
im not sure if someone said this before, or if it is the right place
using the rock band pack, if you try to play "dont fear the reaper" on training, there arent any notes on guitar. there are on bass, and there is no problem if you play it on another game option

the only prob. i have is this one .... Snag the DirectX Web Installer from the software requirements thread, almost 100% sure thats the same error I had. Turns out I didn't get the DX installer cause I figured Crysis came with everything I'd need. I was wrong Edit: Erased images for better looking quote

ok so everytime i change the resolution to lower than 800x600 ( for performance issues ) as soon as i hit a sustained note it gives me this little error the game runs fine in 800x600 but its too laggy as of late

In Update 2, whenver I change the volume, the sound gets jerky, then stops, then restarts, and continues this until I restart the game, even on menu music and sounds.
Also, it's been so long that I've even played at GH game on my PS2 thanks to GZ, however if I remember correctly, does it really alllow you fail while having starpower active? I thougth that was a free pass to miss as much as you want, and every note you hit gives you double...

I've noticed a minor graphical glitch relating to how stars are marked after a song is play. I play at 1024x768, fullscreen. Notice the clipping/stretching on the regular stars and the funky quarter/quarter effect on the other stars. But you can sorta move them by creating your image with more transparent space below the meter to move it up...more to the left makes it move right, you get the idea.
