Run midi2gz.exe on the command line (or via batch file) like so: midi2gz.exe [INFILE] [OUTFILE] Where [INFILE] is the path to your midi file, and [OUTFILE] is the path to where you want your dat file to be created. You may need to convert the midi to a format 0 midi. To do that, open the midi in Anvil Studio and select File|Export as Format 0 Midi (or whatever it says). One of these days I'll finish my own converter and complications like that will be done away with for good.

Frontman supports MID files out of the box, so there is no need to convert them. If you are looking for support regarding the original Guitar Zero game, please head on over to the Original Guitar Zero help section.
